Futures Trading

Futures contracts are standardized agreements to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a specific future date. In day trading, we focus on trading futures contracts on indices like ES (S&P 500), NQ (Nasdaq), and other popular instruments without holding positions overnight.

While futures trading does require margin, many brokers offer micro contracts (like MES and MNQ) that significantly reduce capital requirements. We recommend starting with proper risk management and never risking more than 1-2% of your account per trade. Always trade with capital you can afford to lose.

Our community primarily focuses on popular index futures like ES (S&P 500), NQ (Nasdaq), and occasionally other liquid futures contracts. We analyze price action, key levels, order blocks, and use technical analysis to identify high-probability trading setups.

Risk management is the practice of controlling how much you risk on each trade to protect your capital. It's the most important aspect of trading. We emphasize proper position sizing, stop loss placement, and never risking more than you can afford to lose. As Mark Douglas teaches, consistent execution with proper risk management is key to long-term success.

We're currently developing comprehensive futures trading courses. These will cover fundamentals, advanced technical analysis, and trading psychology. Check back soon or join our community to be notified when courses launch.

We provide access to ProfitPath (our comprehensive trading calculator), trading journal templates, technical analysis cheat sheets, and other downloadable resources. We also integrate with FeelBetterTrading for additional tools. All available in our Tools section.

Community & Support

Our community is very active, especially during market hours. Members share real-time market analysis, trading setups, and insights throughout the trading day. We have both text and voice channels on Discord for live discussions and collaboration.

While community members share their analysis and potential setups, we focus on education and helping you develop your own trading edge. We teach you to fish rather than giving you fish. Our goal is to help you become an independent, confident trader.

Yes! Our community members and moderators are available to answer questions, review charts, and provide feedback on your trading approach. We foster a collaborative environment where traders help each other grow.

Technical Questions

Community members use various platforms including NinjaTrader, TradeStation, TradingView, and ThinkorSwim. The platform choice depends on your personal preferences, but we provide resources and support for popular platforms.

We focus on price action, key levels, and order blocks rather than complex indicators. While some members use VWAP, moving averages, or volume profiles, our approach emphasizes understanding market structure and price behavior over indicator dependency.
